In the week prior to the 2011 Superbowl, Dallas was hit with a huge Ice/Snow storm. I was stuck out of town on a business trip, with Nanner sitting at DFW airport. I finally got a flight home the day before the big game. I live over an hour from the airport, and was stuck driving home on extreme summer tires. The roads were great for the first half of the drive, but as soon as I got about 30 miles away from the stadium, it went down hill fast. It seemed that they had focused all of the attention on roads near the stadium and neglected those further out. I seemed to be doing OK, driving at about 30 mph down the tollway, when I went under an overpass. It was all ice in the shade, and I immediately went in to a slow motion spin that put me in to the wall.
